As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in Lakeland, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Carry out site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and emergency response activities.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, access violations, or incidents according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
