Job Description
We are a well established Workers Compensation Medical Practice located in Encino, California. We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to assist the Executive Administrative in completing various projects.
The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant we are seeking must be dependable, responsible and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance. It will also be important that you display exceptional attention to detail and solid organizational skills. You must also be articulate, have strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Your specific duties will include:
-Performing a wide range of office and clerical duties. Depending upon the specifics of your assignment, you may work in the front office in an admin/receptionist role, or you may provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
-Answering telephones and providing information to callers, taking messages or transferring calls to appropriate individuals.
-Data Entry
-Operating office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and using computers for word processing, and other applications as needed.
-Sorting mail and either forwarding or delivering it to the correct department or office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must have at least 1-2 years working experience as an Administrative assistant in a very busy and fast-paced environment; must be used to working under pressure with a sense of urgency, remain flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and internet navigation
-Professional appearance
-Excellent organizational skills
-Possess strong common sense
