We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a hybrid role that allows for a flexible work arrangement between remote work and on-site presence, providing the best of both worlds. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, who is comfortable with complex financial data, and has a knack for identifying and solving problems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be a key player in our finance team, with responsibilities that include:

1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
2. Ensuring all invoices are accurate, approved, and paid in a timely manner.
3. Conducting regular reconciliation of vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Assisting in month-end closing processes, including preparing and posting journal entries.
5. Providing support in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files and records.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline and improve accounts payable processes.
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
9. Providing support in ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Analyst role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in Excel is a must. Knowledge of other financial software and systems is a plus.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
8. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
9. A solid understanding of accounts payable principles and procedures.
10. A proactive approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks.
