Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Redding, CA . This is a Full-time, 17 weeks contract for 1st Shift (Weekdays).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I to join our team at our Redding, CA location. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and skilled manner. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens from patients with accuracy and professionalism
• Prepare specimens for lab testing while maintaining safety protocols
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Foster a trust-based atmosphere with patients and clients
• Follow established procedures for both forensic and clinical specimen collection
• Work independently and demonstrate leadership behaviors
• Ensure process excellence while handling confidential patient information

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification required in California
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)
• Ability to handle pediatric and geriatric blood draws
• Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Information:

• Location: Redding, CA
• Job Type: Contract (17 Week)
• Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–3 PM)
• Pay Range : $20 - $24 per hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
