Payroll Coordinator (local candidates only)

A company located in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Hybrid work environment; local candidates only.

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for wages calculation, paycheck preparation and distribution, and ensuring transactions are in compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator

• Overseeing payroll processing
• Maintaining payroll information and updating records related to deductions, job titles, and exemptions
• Providing compilation reports of earnings, insurance coverage, leave, taxes, etc.
• determining payroll liabilities
• Assisting with salary-based compensation calculations
• Responding to and resolving payroll discrepancies

Requirements of the Payroll Coordinator

• 2-3 plus years of recent payroll experience that includes multistate processing, reconciliation, reporting, and tax compliance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation
• Familiarity with payroll regulations and policies
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong communication skills

Additional Details:

Assignment: Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $30hr-$32.50hr

Work Schedule: Hybrid Schedule (3 days on-site/2 days remote)

Note: 2-3 plus years of Recent Payroll Processing experience is required

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
