Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for designing, developing, and testing of automation systems for a variety of projects while promoting a positive environment.

• Duties/Responsibilities Collaboration and communication with internal team members and outside vendors pertaining to automation systems
• Design systems of new projects whether it’s an individual project or team effort
• Create and maintain documentation of automation design and externally sourced components or assemblies.
• Work within a team setting to accomplish mutual goals and maintain positive morale for the department
• Analyze existing systems for issues requiring optimization.
• Optimize systems to further improve production metrics such as cycle time, scrap rate, rework rate, feed capacity, etc.
• Analyze existing processes of production that can be improved through new technology or mechanical builds
• Be a positive role model to all others in the company

Education and Experience

• ME or MET degree
