Clearance: TS/SCI Certification: CompTIA Sec+ RMantras is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to support the DISA Program. Primary Responsibilities Work to address End-user issues as Tier II tickets are escalated within ITSM. Install patches and perform routine maintenance as required in support of security and O&M maintenance requirements. Monitor environment for system anomalies and perform root cause analysis as required. Document all changes to the test, operational and cloud environments in compliance with customer and DOD practices. Implement Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) in support of change control process and system enhancements. Work to maintain a highly secure environment in compliance with all DOD security requirements. Work closely with other IT disciplines in the resolution of user and system issues. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of experience working operational Linux environments. Additional years of logistics experience considered in lieu of degree. Must be DOD 8570 IAT II Certified. Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly. Required Experience Experience with creating, modifying, and troubleshooting end user accounts. Experience with REDHAT Linux and variant operating systems. Highly proficient in shell scripting and Linux CLI environments. Experience using shell scripting to facilitate repeatable processes. Working knowledge of SELINUX and intermediate expertise in configuring and maintaining it. Working knowledge of Ansible and how to leverage it to secure operating systems, along with maintaining CM baselines. Working knowledge of AWS cloud environments. Ability to automate through basic scripting (e.g., Bourne, Korn, Python). Implemented security measures in compliance with DOD regulations. Managed, created, and modified filesystems. Experience in installing Linux operating systems. Detailed understanding of CLI basics. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners.
