So, what will the Entry Level Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) at Terrestris do? As the Entry Level Instructional Systems Designer (ISD), you will assist in designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs that help employees acquire and enhance skills, knowledge, and competencies. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, ensuring that instructional content aligns with organizational goals. What does a typical day look like for the Entry Level Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)? You will: Assist in the creation of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, and job aids, using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) or other instructional design frameworks. Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, define training objectives, and ensure accurate and relevant learning materials. Develop and refine training content for various delivery formats (e.g., online, blended, and classroom training). Assist in managing and uploading training content to the LMS, ensuring proper tracking and reporting of learner progress and outcomes. Help design assessments to measure learning outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Assist in gathering feedback from participants and making improvements based on results. Conduct research to identify the best instructional strategies, tools, and technologies to enhance learning experiences. Assist in the coordination and tracking of project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful completion of training initiatives. What qualifications do you look for? You might be the instructional designer we’re looking for if you have: A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. No prior experience is required, but internships or coursework related to instructional design, e-learning, or training development is a plus. Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and content development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other content creation software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills. Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. We are extra impressed by folks with: Experience with multimedia tools and software for creating interactive content. Knowledge of current trends in instructional design, adult learning theory, or e-learning. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques. What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?
