TITLE: Electrical Engineer/ Senior Electrical Engineer

SALARY: $90,000 - $120,000

Location: Midtown Manhattan/ Cohoes, NY (Occasional Travel Required)

Company:

Top 30-Year-Old engineering firm with over 5,000 successful projects across various markets, such as labs aviation, commercial, higher education, hospitals, K-12, laboratories, residential and street lighting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test electrical products and systems for various applications, such as power generation, transmission, distribution, lighting, control, communication and automation
• Use design software, such as AutoCAD create schematics, layouts, diagrams and documentation
• Conduct research, analysis and troubleshooting to solve electrical problems and improve existing products and processes
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and schedules for electrical projects and proposals
• Comply with the relevant engineering codes, standards and regulations, such as UL, FCC, FDA, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Proven experience as an electrical engineer in a similar industry or environment
• Proficient in using electrical design software and tools like AutoCAD or REVIT
• Willing to Occasionally travel to Cohoes/Troy
• PE or EIT a Plus
