What you will be doing

• Ensure campus facilities are maintained and optimized for safety, functionality, and inspiration.
• Handle minor repairs and coordinate with vendors for larger repair projects by evaluating quotes.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, including fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Address basic technical issues like WiFi, device pairing, laptop repairs, and hardware replacements.
• Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to prevent disruptions.

What you will NOT be doing

• Perform janitorial or routine cleaning tasks.
• React to problems only after they've disrupted operations—this role emphasizes proactive solutions.
• Handle major repairs or issues outside your expertise without consulting specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for campus facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and inspiring environment for all.
• Oversee vendor relationships to guarantee timely, cost-effective support for facilities and technology.
• Ensure technology systems are current and fully operational to support an advanced learning experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must work in-person in Miami, FL, with relocation assistance available to join Alpha's mission.
• Proven ability to independently manage minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, doors, locks, wall patches, lighting).
• Experience in obtaining and managing vendor quotes for extensive repairs.
• Hands-on experience with routine facility inspections (e.g., fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues (e.g., WiFi, laptops, hardware connectivity).
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
