Criminal Intelligence Analyst

Our work depends on a Criminal Intelligence Analyst joining our team to provide intelligence support for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (USACID) . The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing, integrating, and interpreting intelligence from multiple sources to provide actionable insights that aid investigative efforts. Crime analysts play a vital role in law enforcement, working alongside investigators to analyze data and provide valuable insights that aid in criminal prosecution.

Candidate must work on site and be local to the area.

HOW CRIMINAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Conduct multi-source intelligence analysis to identify threats, trends, and patterns relevant to USACID operations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and intelligence professionals to develop assessments supporting criminal investigations.
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to process intelligence reports and generate data-driven findings.
  • Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings and written reports to senior leadership and investigators.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging threats, geopolitical developments, and technological advancements that impact investigative operations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Experience: 3+ years in intelligence analysis, preferably within military or law enforcement environments. Experience supporting Army or DoD intelligence operations, Familiarity with criminal investigations and forensic intelligence methodologies.

Technical skills: Microsoft Office. Proficiency in intelligence databases, analytical tools, and research methodologies. Proficiency in Department of Defense (DoD) Law Enforcement Databases, Analyst Notebook, Palantir Gotham and Microsoft Office Suite.

Security clearance level: TS/SCI

Skills and abilities:
  • Critical Thinking - Ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal skills for briefing law enforcement officials.
  • Collaboration - Experience working with multi-agency task forces and intelligence teams.
  • Attention to Detail - Precision in analyzing reports and identifying patterns.

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
