Job Description

As a credentialing specialist with MedElite, you will play a key role in ensuring providers are fully credentialed, onboarded, and equipped to deliver services efficiently across assigned facilities. This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication skills Responsibilities Credentialing Packet Management: Submit credentialing packets for new and existing providers. Follow up regularly with facility contacts to ensure timely processing and approval. Facility Liaison: Establish and maintain positive relationships with credentialing and HR departments at assigned facilities. Serve as the main point of contact for all credentialing-related inquiries. EMR and Access Coordination: Request and track EMR access setup for providers at each facility. Ensure all required logins, badges, and system access are granted prior to provider start dates. Internal Communication: Collaborate with the scheduling team to communicate start dates, facility clearance, and EMR readiness. Coordinate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth provider launch. Scheduling Support: Assist the scheduling team by sharing credentialing timelines and provider availability. Help align provider schedules with facility approvals and EMR access readiness. Documentation and Tracking: Maintain accurate records of credentialing status, expiration dates, and communication logs. Update internal databases and credentialing trackers in real-time. Identify and escalate delays or issues with facility credentialing to appropriate leadership. Proactively work to resolve any discrepancies or missing documentation.
