Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Traverse City, MI . This is a Full-time, 9-week contract for 1st Shift (Weekdays).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist II to join our team at our Traverse City, MI, location. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while drawing blood specimens, verifying patient information, and preparing samples for lab testing. You’ll have direct contact with patients and play a critical role in delivering accurate results to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Verify patient demographic information and label accuracy
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Adhere to all established laboratory procedures and safety protocols
• Demonstrate strong customer service, fostering trust and professionalism
• Perform high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Travel to multiple locations as needed and be flexible for overtime and on-call work

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
• Experience in Patient Service Centers preferred
• Strong customer service and data entry skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to make decisions based on established procedures

Additional Information:

• Location: Traverse City, MI
• Job Type: Contract (9 Week)
• Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM)
• Pay Range : $20 - $25 per hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
